Richard Denton Caldwell 5/9/77 – 4/19/12

We have lost our dear friend and sound engineer, Rich Caldwell. He was in a tragic car accident near his home in College Station, Texas.

There are no words to describe the sorrow that we are all feeling. We have lost a brother, a bright light, and an amazing friend.

It feels so unreal to us that our friend that has been with us since the very beginning of Flyleaf with a sparkle in his eyes, the biggest smile and easy laugh isn't with us any longer. He touched so many people. He was so unbelievably great.

Our prayers are with his wife Katy, 2 year old son Kirby and their family.

Rich did not have life insurance. Please consider making a donation of any size to help his wife and son with funeral costs and living expenses through this time of their sudden loss.

Thank you all for the love, support and prayers in this tragic time.

I'm sure all of you have heard about the tragedy that has happened one of the members of the Flyleaf family and the Benefit concert surrounding it. On May 20th Flyleaf will perform a benefit concert for Rich Caldwell at the Palladium in Dallas, where all the proceeds of the event will go to Rich's wife Katy and their son Kirby.
